Age Management and Anti-Aging Medicine
Most adults comes to experience menopause or andropause as early as in their 30s. Premature hormonal aging, andropause (men) or menopause (women) may be related to several factors like family history, smoking, obesity, and other medical problems and most likely environmental and lifestyle factors.
Internally, the patient may feel dried up (wrinkles, dryness), swelled up (inflammation), burned out (oxidative damage) or stoned up (muscle or vessels calcifications)
By appropriate evaluation and testing, we can achieve our optimal health with lifestyle modifications, nutritional and supplement therapy, bio-identical hormonal replacement therapy and prescription medicine .

Anti-Aging Medicine vs. Traditional Medicine

This, for example, is the purpose behind Pap smears, colonoscopies and mammograms. While these are important health maintenance tools, none of them aim to prevent cancer. They just pick it up earlier.
If disease has occurred, the traditional medical model offers treatment for symptoms, and at best “disease modification” (such as medications for auto-immune disease) or radical cures with serious side effects (such as surgery, radiation and chemotherapy for cancer). Such approaches are important and often lifesaving.
Anti-aging medicine offers a multi facet treatment of disease processes focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, reversal of the degenerative process of aging and optimization of health at any age and under any condition.
